Short description

Hold my Helmet is a co-op action game about gladiator trials, in development for Steam. A party walks into the arena, an announcer calls the next trial, the traps wake up and a boss comes through the gate. Third-person physics combat, ragdolls and a lot of things that explode, played together online.

Long description

Hold my Helmet is a co-op action game from XPLOIT, an independent game studio, in development for Steam on Windows. Friends enter an arena as a party of gladiators and survive a run of trials, each one staged by the Arena Trial Director: the doors open, the traps wake up, the boss walks out, rewards are paid and the shop opens for a short break.

Combat is third-person and physics-driven. Fifteen weapon profiles run from bare fists to dynamite, bodies are full ragdolls, and body parts can be knocked off and repaired. Whoever goes down watches in spectator mode, and the party's pet will happily carry a live grenade if nobody stops him.

The game is played online over Steam with lobbies and friends, on host-authoritative netcode with client-side prediction. Development started in September 2026 and is documented in a public devlog.
